The set of selected nutrients are stored in the program's .ini file. This particular symptom may be caused by one of two things: (a) the ini file is damaged; (b) the database file housing nutrient names is damaged. To address this, let's start with the first:

(a) Damaged .ini file:
  1. Close your ESHA software.
  2. Click Start/Run. In Open, type 'genesis.ini' or 'foodpro.ini', depending on which ESHA software program you have. Do not include the quotes.
  3. In the .ini file find the Basic= line.
  4. Select this whole line.
  5. Continue highlighting down through (and including) Other=. (In total, about 9 lines).
  6. Delete all 9 lines.
  7. Save and close the .ini file.
  8. Start your ESHA Software in the same manner you normally do.
  9. Try the Nutrients to View now--you should see the full list.
(b) Damaged database file:  If the above does not address the problem, the physical esha__ database file that houses the nutrients is damaged. To repair, you will need to contact us for a replacement file.
