This document is for any customer using Database Utility to perform the update of the ESHA Database.  This is the most common.

If you are using a full installation of SQL Server and wish to use a separate tool to update the database, click the appropriate link below:

To update your database:
  1. Download the appropriate .zip file containing the most up-to-date scripts for your program:
  2. Start Database Utility.  If you have Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 2008 Server, you will need to right-click and Run As Administrator.
  3. Connect to the appropriate SQL Server instance.
  4. Click Database/Backup.
  5. Click Database/Update.
  6. For 'Location of script files:', browse to the set of .sql files extracted from the .zip you downloaded from our site above.
  7. For 'Target Structure Version:', enter the appropriate ending structure version based on the table below.
  8. Click Update.
