How do I Activate a database?

  1. Open the "Database" menu
  2. Choose "Select Active Databases"
  3. Choose the drive and directory that your database files are stored in by selecting the drive letter across the top and directory on the left.
  4. In the dialog box, in the center towards the top you will notice 3 tabs: Food Item, Foodlist, and Profile
  5. REPEAT STEPS 5-7 FOR ALL 3 TABS
  6. Choose which databases you want to activate out of the "Database Files" box, and then press the "Add" button
  7. Choose one of the "Active" databases to be the "Default Save File" and press the "Set Save File" button (This will put an asterisk(*) next to the database)
  8. Press the "Save" button all the way on the right and you will receive a message saying "Default file selection successfully saved"
  9. Press the "OK" button when finished. You should get a message saying "Opening Food Item files" with the blue drip.
