How to Register to use FoodProdigy (New!)
Product features:
- Automatic dietary intake and activity analysis — via the Internet
- Clients enter data and receive a summary report; a set of more detailed reports is automatically e-mailed to you.
- You can use these reports directly to counsel your client OR you can import the dietary intake and exercise information into The Food Processor SQL for more extensive analyses and reports.
- The client will receive a summary pdf report of the information entered with an analysis of Calories.
- You will receive a batch of pdf reports including: Recommendations, Bar Graph, Calories & Exchanges, MyPyramid, Spreadsheet and Activity Summary.
- Included with Dietitian Report is an exl file that can be imported directly into The Food Processor SQL for a more extensive analysis and reports.
- Data entry and search functions are similar to The Food Processor® SQL.
- FoodProdigy automatically analyzes for the following: Calories, Protein, Carbohydrate, Sugars, Dietary Fiber, Fat, Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron and Sodium.
- A database of more than 18,000 foods, recipes and exercises from a variety of sources. Our behind-the-scenes research team continuously updates the database as new information becomes available.
- Clients can add new foods to the database as needed.
- Dietary intake can be organized by day and/or meal. Analyses can be done per unit (day or meal) or averaged over a number of days.
- Exercise tracking is based on METs and includes exercise information from the American College of Sports Medicine.
- Fitness and weight management – Variable traits including age, weight, height, gender and activity level make up the personal profile from which recommendations are generated.
