Unlock the power of your software with ESHAPort, a utility for importing and exporting ESHA SQL data. This module is of particular interest to users who have their own database systems and wish to import data to or export data from Genesis R&D SQL or The Food Processor SQL. |
Through the use of ASCII text files, ESHAPort enables you to output files in a format that can be read by most standard database applications.
This module streamlines importing recipes and ingredients, and the exporting of database items, recipe analysis and more.

Compatible with all ESHA Windows® based programs, ESHA Security™ is ideal for businesses, schools, hospitals and other ESHA network users. This module allows you to safeguard your valuable data by establishing access rights to network database files, and restricting who may use the network program. Users must log in under a unique name that acts as a password, allowing the software to keeps track of every user, regardless of which station is in use.

Database
Our nutrient databases total more than 27,000 unique foods, track 160+ nutrient factors, and combine nutrient data from 1,300+ scientific sources of information.
With the latest USDA data-sets at its core, and a team of researchers updating the information daily, you will not find a more extensive, accurate database anywhere.
The Nutrient Database is divided into five sections. Each section is available as a separate entity, or as part of a package that you design.

Database Structuring
Our master database consists of over 27,000 items – ranging from food components (potassium bicarbonate) to common items (eggs, sugar) to fast foods (Wendy's, Denny's) to brand name items (Gerber baby foods, Kraft).
Since each situation is unique, we are set up to accommodate nearly any structure you desire. Not only can you choose which database section(s), which food group(s) and which nutrients/nutrient factors are included in your database, but we will we will do our best to provide the database to you in your required format – from comma delimited to a relational database (in MS Access, for example.)
In addition, provisions can be made for periodic (quarterly, annually, etc.) database updates.
An initial database can be shipped within days of a contract, with preliminary (sample) databases available any time before that. This sample database often gets things in motion for design and preliminary testing of the application.

Exercise Database
In addition to the nutrient information, we can provide you with a database of more than 450 exercises and activities, and the amount of calories each activity burns over a specific period of time.
This database can be used alone, but would make an excellent addition to your nutrition database package.

ESHATrak
For easy Internet access to your customized ESHA database, we offer our nutrition web application - ESHATrak.
With ESHATrak, you can keep track of client dietary intake and exercises, automatically calculate anaylsis and generate a variety of nutrition reports.
ESHATrak integrates with the ESHA databases, giving you and your clients instant nutrition analysis, available anywhere at any time.
